About the ATCMNY

About the ATCMNY
Founded in 1984, The Airedale Terrier Club of Metropolitan New York (ATCMNY) is an AKC licensed breed conformation club. We are an active and growing group of over 50 Airedale Terrier enthusiasts and we welcome new members. We primarily serve those who live in the greater New York metropolitan area, but welcome members from all geographic locations.

We represent a varied range of activities and interests including: holding conformation shows: holding conformation and obedience matches; assisting novice exhibitors, breeders and puppy-owners; seeking homes for Airedales in need (Rescue Services); holding grooming clinics for both show and pet grooming; and providing social and educational activities through which individuals may increase their knowledge of the Airedale Terrier in particular and pure-bred dogs in general.

We hold meetings at least four times a year in various locations but usually within a 25 mile radius of New York City. See Upcoming Events for more information.

Interested applicants must have attended at least one Club function prior to being considered for membership. If, upon attending a Club function, you wish to apply for membership, please request an application form and use the opportunity to meet other members who may serve as sponsors of your application. (Two sponsors are required.) See Membership Information for details.

Upon request, your name will be placed on our mailing list to receive notices of meetings and other Club functions. Contact Us
